It's 2012!!

Happy New Year!! *duarrr

This is the most exciting new years eve in my life! I was alone and and felt free!haha

Some company would have been great, but being alone is cool too.

I was wandering around crown since 10 o'clock. 

A little bit scared I was, but I just didn't want to stay home alone. 

and good things, I didn't! It was great.

Great weather, great spot, great place. :)

A beautiful place here, one of my favourite in Melbourne, Yarra River.

and can you believe, while I was waiting for the fireworks, I met this Chinese-Aussie-NZ girl that sit beside me, Dani, she's twins ;). I didn't think that I would actually make friends with people on New Year's Eve!haha

AIDS

Today is World AIDS Day!

Worlds AIDS Day is dedicated to raise the awareness of AIDS that cause by the spread of HIV infection.

There are some ways you can do to help raising the awareness to stop the AIDS and make a difference.

For instance, wearing a red ribbon, fundraising, getig the facts and sharing with others, and if you have AIDS friends, encouraging them, fill them with joy and happiness =))

This week is the last week for Student Life so we had picnic

Indo Festival

There was Festival Indonesia on 23th-24th October 2010 in Melbourne.

It was greatt!

It was so crowded and so hot and windy at the same time Brr~..

Empek-Empek!!! Aaaaa~~..

lol and I ate Es Ganepo, Rujak and Es cincau-campur..

There were so many other food, Nasi Kapau, Bakso, Guded, Pecel, etc. Aaaa~

It was quite expensive though, not worthed if i may say, but what can I do?

When you want it, you go for it haha.

I went to church too that Sunday for the first time.

It was great and they gave me glass for the welcome gift. Yuhuu~..

I don't know about that but one thing that I know is 20/10 means a lot to me.

Today is my last day of Christianity Explained.

Christianity Explained is six weeks meetings where I can learn more about God, Jesus and Christianity. 

I have someone, who is Christian, her name is Sarah, she explained to me about Christian and I ask her all things about Christian that I want to ask.

I used to go to church to when I was in Medan, back in high school and from kid my school is a Christian/Catholic school so I know about Christian.

I always think that it's not just coincidences that I went to Medan and studied in Methodist-2. I went to church, I joined the school choir and Chamber Choir, to worship God, and we always pray before we start our practice and after, maybe it's just a small thing, but to think about it, it really meant something. It brought me closer to God. 

Someone said, ''Pray is a way to talk to God.''

and then I chose Melbourne, met with Jessica, she's from America, I think I haven't told you about her right? Hmm~ this gonna be a long story haha

Okay so I still remember it's wednesday, I was eating my sushi at the park and suddenly there were two girl, Jessica and girlthatIforgothername =), came to me and asked me some question about Christianity, after that Jessica and I catched up for several times, it was just a short time because she had to go back to Virginia, US, too bad.. short story (singkat cerita lol) she introduce me to Rebecca, the she asked me to come to the student life, where u know, I met these all new people, met Sarah, did the Christianity Explained, we only have 2 meetings left for this year..So sad 'cause I won't be able to meet them again til next year maybe..

and you know, two days ago I met a boy from Bali, Indonesia, Jonathan. It was raining, I was waiting for the tram, then he came to me and offer me his umbrella, so nice of him =), but I said ''No Thankyou'' , then the tram came, we got on to the tram. At first we still speak English and he thought I am from China ??! haha but we found out that we're Indonesian! haha We talked and and there's a conversation taht lead to word ''church'' so he asked my religion, I answered that I am buddhist but I am learning bout Christianity now, he asked wheter I go to any church ot not and I said that I haven't found it yet, so he asked me to go to his church on this Sunday...

Is it all make sense?? hahaha
I mean, Somehow it's like God lead me to this path, a way that he have planned for me.
How amazing is it??

Soo~ yeah I think about it.
I know it will be hard, it won't be easy, yet I don't want to let this moment pass by just like that.
I think there were many times when God open the gate and like ask me ''Would you come with me?"
but this time it's like the main gate!
and I stand there right in the line, thinking to go inside, but something hold me back, my family.
I ask myself
''Do I ready?? Can I believe and put my trust and my life in God?? Will I be strong??''
and I still don't know the answers.
I really hope I can decide it, to put my trust in Jesus despite all the matter and things that may happen in the future.

Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer commonly happen in women and it has big percentage of the cause of cancer death. It could attack anyone no matter how old you are or what etnique you are.

But when hearing ''Breast Cancer'' it doesn't always mean an end. Breast Cancer can be fight and the best way to fight is to detect the disease in early stage.

Some of the physical symptoms of Breast Cancer are :

-. There's a limp 

Scaly skin aroung the nipple

-. There's blood or other fluids out of the nipple

-. Changes of size and form

and it's better to have medical check up to make sure because sometimes these physcical symptoms may noy appear in the early stage.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In this month, many health organisations or breast cancer foundations campaign about Breast Cancer, Increasing awareness of women and men, too, through education, inform the information about it and help the people that get Breast Cancer by fundraising, the money would be donate to the foundations or research programs of Breast Cancer.

Daylight Savings Time

Today here in Australia, We start our Daylight Savings Time.

Honestly I don't really get it this whole Daylight Saving thing.

First, Daylight Savings Time is a practice temporarily advancing clocks so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less. *I took it from google haha

and now I get it lol..

Daylight Savings time is just temporarily during spring 'til summer and in the beginning of autumn the clocks wil be adjusted backward again.

So Today is officially the beginning of Spring! Yay!

and you know Today is one HOT day! Oh yeah~ It's 24 ºC!

Happy Batik Day

October 2nd, It's Batik Day!Yay!

Batik is originally from Indonesia culture, it's cloth that traditionally uses wax resist dyeing technique with unique pattern.

Batik has many different kind e.g Batik Tulis, Batik Keris, Batik Cap, Batik Keraton, Btaik Pesisir and others.

Batik is awesome. Batik is beautiful. Batik is cool. haha

Batik Tulis. I amazed by the people who do this. It's artsy, it's detail and I tell you what It's a wide fabric to do. Salute!

Echuca

September has come to the end

How's your spring break??

I did a lot, I think.

Did new things, Met new people and I went camping! How's that?!haha

I went with Sue, Tahnee, Remi and also Tamara, Remi's friend to Echuca.

It's right in the bottom of the border line between New South Wales and Victoria.

First time I go camping, it's little bit dfferent than what I imagined haha, in a good way.

Travel around Mari river and ended up that we're in the 'closed area' haha

Must be fun. Hope I can do it someday.
