Happy Batik Day

October 2nd, It's Batik Day!Yay!

Batik is originally from Indonesia culture, it's cloth that traditionally uses wax resist dyeing technique with unique pattern.

Batik has many different kind e.g Batik Tulis, Batik Keris, Batik Cap, Batik Keraton, Btaik Pesisir and others.

Batik is awesome. Batik is beautiful. Batik is cool. haha

Batik Tulis. I amazed by the people who do this. It's artsy, it's detail and I tell you what It's a wide fabric to do. Salute!

#octoberwish

Today is October 1st.

I love October, don't really know why maybe cause I was born in this month? haha
I was born on October 22nd.. 22 days to go  and I'll officially be 18 Yay!
October and December.

Those are my favorite month.

I love December cause it's like the end of the year and there's Christmas.

I love Christmas.
It's white and It's peaceful. =)

Anyway, cause October is kinda special I'll gonna share about October,
but today let's just start with

Echuca

September has come to the end

How's your spring break??

I did a lot, I think.

Did new things, Met new people and I went camping! How's that?!haha

I went with Sue, Tahnee, Remi and also Tamara, Remi's friend to Echuca.

It's right in the bottom of the border line between New South Wales and Victoria.

First time I go camping, it's little bit dfferent than what I imagined haha, in a good way.

Sausages and lots lots of Garlic. Oh yeah~ haha

Travel around Mari river and ended up that we're in the 'closed area' haha

Went swimming, It's freezing yet refreshing!

Beautiful horse right? Oou I really really want to learn horse riding. 

Must be fun. Hope I can do it someday.

Playing tennis. I always want to do it haha..

It's fun but still need a lot of practice haha..

I could lay down all night, though I didn't cause it's freezing.

Fall in Love

I love Melbourne!!

I totally fall in love..

The cultures, the foods, the nature, the people, the experiences.

All of the things that I can think of.

It's so great to be here.

I 'm happy that I chose Melbourne to live in.

I chose Melbourne University to study.

though i'm not really in Mel Uni yet.

and I chose to homestay.

and I am really lucky to have Sue as my host.

Anyway. Today I went to Sue's friend's house, Mark and Tracey with their kid, Benjamin.

Ben is 14 months old and he's my boyfriend LOL

He's soooooo cuteeee!!!haha He is.

Mark and Tracey are very lovely and kind people. They are funny and it's easy to get along with them and have fun.

It's like when I came to there at 3 in the afternoon. I felt like completely stranger.

Say hi, shake hand and smile.

but around 12.00 when we went home.

I felt like I am closer to them. 

Share, play around, hug, and laugh.

It really was a great time!

I love their house too.

and the dogs ooh lovely!

There are Billy, Kay, and Jessie.

Billy is an obedient dog, He's protective and so cuteee! 

Tracey told me that when Ben is outside, play around, Ben follow him and walk beside him. Aaw..Love him =)..

Kay is a calm one. He just sit beside you, stay still and I just pet him, hug him, kiss him all the time. haha 

and Jessie, she's hyperactive haha, she likes to catch ball. so she just come to you, drop the ball, wait for the ball with an excitement face haha you throw the ball and she track it. So funny. and she's fluffy! haha

and I can see the stars clearly from their garden. I love love love love it!!

I'm really happy to be there u know. Thanks to Sue haha

Massive Day!

Two days ago I went out with my homestay family, It was a great day. We sure do lots of things hahaha

First,

Going to footy stadium. We're trying to sneak in and also ask them if we could go to the ground, but apparently, we're ot allowed. What a shame. =)

Bike riding, but unfortunately we have to have our helmet or else we wolud get fined.

These bicycles spread in melbourne, must be fun to ride around.

Back to School?!

This post is a litleeee bit kind of serious..haha 

Nah, I just want to discuss something with you guys and I will be so hapy if you can comment and give what you guys think. =)

I was thinking about Education System.

In Australia which I just found out that Children in here is taught to train their life skills like cooking, doing arts, music and other millions fun things!! *So envyy!!! lol

They get to choose their own subjects that they like. How cool is that??

They have to learn math cause it is a compulsory subject which has important role in our life. =)

and if you want to learn science, you can choose science subject.

Aahhhhh~ it's so good, I feel like I want to get back to school and learn all those things!!haha

In Japan I think it's similiar to Aussie but I'm not sure either.

I was watching Cardcaptor Sakura and in school they learn how to cook, play music, do sports, have fieldtrip and learn other subjects too. haha I don't know though if it's same in the real life. haha

Yess! I am 18 and I watch Cardcaptor Sakura. haha I love anime, cartoon and fantasy!

*One way to be mature but still have your kiddy imagination. Yay! lol 

Back to topic, so what bother my mind now is 

Why can't Indonesia Education system be like that??

Ocidoci, maybe it's lack of Human Resources and Money. I get it

but to think about and compare it, it's just sooo~ not.

While they learn life skills and fun things, we learn science and social theory, 

Oci, maybe they are a little bit of practice. haha and 

While they have freedom to choose, we just accept and and do what the school tell us to.

Oci, it is fun somehow, but still~ it's quite not...balance??..hahaha..

So, what do guys think?? =)

Another great day!

After having my Christianity Explained, I have Curry Rice, another curry day! haha

 Then I went to Brunswick to look for a job.. and shop haha

Many cafes don't need people though, but I found some pretty good cafes and send them in.

Hope I get accepted!I need a job.. haha

Tomorrow I'll go there and look around again.

Went to Vikki's apartment, not hers, but just say it hers haha

and talked again hahaha
