Hello folks, How is life there?

Prayer

How are you all doing? Great? 

I am great! I feel excited with my summer course, gotta a good feeling about it!

Then another thing is about busking!!Yeah~ I am S.O E.X.C.I.T.E.D!

Gonna apply soon, I have fill the application and all that. Wish us good!:)

Today Menado (Menara Doa) or Prayer Tower (I think that what it's called in english) is really a blessing. Our Pastor share a message about prayer. 

Just share a little bit of what I got. :)

Prayer got to have a purpose. 

and not only that, I believe in everything that we do, especially for God, we should know what is the purpose, the reason behind it.

or else we would just get driven by slogan and routine only.

(which is very sad and boring I think :p)

In Matthew 6, Jesus taught us how to pray,

He start with 

"Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be Your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

These are the purpose that our prayer should have :

1. Our relationship with Father God 

2. His Glory

3. His Will be done on earth as it is in heaven

Sometimes when we pray, it's all about ME ME ME, my need, my want, my will.

we forget who is the real centre of the life, It's God Himself.

we tend to do the need-driven prayer instead of vision-driven prayer.

There is nothing wrong with pray when we are in need, but the matter is, when our need is being fulfil,  we don't pray anymore.

Where with vision-driven prayer, we can see far beyond the need, our OWN need, but to see God Himself, the relationship with Him, His Glory and His will,  not us, but Him.

As a christian, we don't live for ourselves anymore, but we live for God.

It's hard, yes. but I believe when we can see and truly understand the love and the cross. 

It won't be hard anymore, because of the love itself that sustain us, the love that He has given to us.

When we love someone, wouldn't we do anything for the one?

"We love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19)

So to love God, we need to understand how much He loves us!

1 John 5:14 said,

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."

Prayer is more than asking God for what we want or need, but it's a two way communication with Him.

Ah~ How amazing it is, to have relationship with you God, communicate with Him and more to call Him, Father.

Let's get back our heart to Him! :)

I am also in the stage of learning, it doesn't take 1 day to built Colosseum haha.

It's a life-time process, it will be up and down, but know whatever situation that you are in to, God is always there! Thanks Lord.

Yes, I can.

Essay, word of my life.

I didn't like essay at all, academic essay most of all, and worse is my major which is Media and Communication requires me to write essayssss. Just to think of it for 3 years make me crazy enough.

I was thinking and many other times too, to move to Performing Arts, doing project and all that would be fun. It's also one of my reasons not blogging besides busyness and massive laziness. But then, things changed.

On 18th November 2011, I remember I was doing my study plan, and it was so stressful, every time I do it, my mind full of essay, essay and essay. I had problem to enrol some more. 

I was crying and asked, "Why?What should I do?Why it is so difficult?"

I was afraid of something I never know, something that hasn't happened. 

Suddenly, I don't know how, I got this 'motivation and support', if I can call it, to do Media and Communication. I don't know somehow, deep inside my heart, there's this voice that shout "Yes I can"

I don't know how, it all get me and I am sure that I can nail it.

and then I remember days after that, I am not sure, someone suddenly said something like, "Determination will not last." and I was thinking and afraid of how long this 'determination' will last.

Because, I know for my self, many many times I tried to discipline my self with my strength, many many times I determined to do it, but at the end, I didn't.

Determination is not enough 'cause it will end someday, Commitment?How long it will last?

Once, my friend told me this, 

"Commitment without love is routine only. Love without commitment is not love. It has to be balance because it walk hands-by-hands"
Just give a quick example : Say I commit to live with my partner for a life-time, but I don't love him and the time we spend together, How torturous and boring that is?! and If I love my partner, yet I don't want to commit, instead of spending time and be faithful to him, I am playing around with another guys or else, Is that love?!

So, I prayed to Him that let it be my conviction, let it be His will and the work of Holy Spirit that change heart, nor my determination and just a short-term feeling.

and yes, it's probably hard, but I want to love my major, I want to like essay, I want to enjoy writing, even it's an academic one. I am learning little by little, to commit and to love. :)

Many times in our life, we questioned things surround us, What is the purpose?Why?Why?Why?
I believe, "Everything has its own purpose". :)
I found my self asking this question many times regarding to my university, the subjects I learn and all that. But who knows? I might be a pretty good journalist someday. ;p
and things that I learn will may be a blessings for others too.
and especially for His Kingdom and Glory.

Back then, I will probably say, Believe in yourself and nothing is impossible!

but now I know, I can't even if I believe in myself because my strength and my heart will fail me.

"Believe in Him, Surrender and Have faith!"

We have our part and God has His part.

"We do our best and let God do the rest."

 I realise, the only hope that can walk me over this path is 
Him, His hands, His guidance, His grace and His love.

Our God is great and His plan in our life is great!

Today, I was walking for 3 hours non-stop, looking for 'things' yet found none and in the middle of that just bought something today, unintentionally, tadaaa~

It's been so long since I wear earrings.

Like them all, brown (mostly) and simple. :)

2012!!

It's 2012!!

Happy New Year!! *duarrr

This is the most exciting new years eve in my life! I was alone and and felt free!haha

Some company would have been great, but being alone is cool too.

I was wandering around crown since 10 o'clock. 

A little bit scared I was, but I just didn't want to stay home alone. 

and good things, I didn't! It was great.

Great weather, great spot, great place. :)

A beautiful place here, one of my favourite in Melbourne, Yarra River.

and can you believe, while I was waiting for the fireworks, I met this Chinese-Aussie-NZ girl that sit beside me, Dani, she's twins ;). I didn't think that I would actually make friends with people on New Year's Eve!haha
